Re: Start Upload on filepart - Proxying an upload via laptop

Right, direct is preferred. However, there are some issues with direct transfers. Most important, there is often not an external transfer point available for upload access.

I wouldn't recommend that in general.

Edit

I meant, can I start uploading to network 2 as soon as I start downloading from network 1. Sorry, it's been a long night of watching file transfer progress.

Start Upload on filepart - Proxying an upload via laptop

I often run into this scenario - two VPNs, large files that need transferred between the two, limited bandwidth on the upload one way, if not both.

Can I start uploading a file(filepart) to the 2nd network? Specifically streaming would work as well, but i would definitely want to write the filepart as a fallback for resuming if the connection breaks.

Can I do this now with WinSCP or other tool?

Thank you,

Tim
