Re: Download error via command line (long file name errror?)

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

Download error via command line (long file name errror?)

I am using WinSCP 5.1.4 [Build 3020]

When I download or synchronize an excel file from the remote sFTP folder to the local one the file called for instance:
APRegion13_DDARoutingNumberChange_DailyReport_021620130830AM.xls
which size is 403KB then the "downloaded" file size in the local folder is 1KB the file name remain the same and obviously the file is corrupted. (No file trasfer happens)

I have no specific error message on the console.
I just see the following:
APRegion13_DDARoutingNumb | 0 kiB | 0.0 Kib/s | binary | 100%

I asume it is a bug because other shorter named excel files I have on the remote folder the same scrip syncronize or download (get) it with no problem at all.

Please advise!
