a remedy

A remedy to this problem:
Open regedit.
Find HCU/Software/Martin Prikyl
Delete the password keys for your stored sessions
Delete the two keys in configuration/security

Then your WinSCP is open Again and you may re-activate the use of master password.

Master password bypass

I've upgraded to 5.1.5 (build 3262) running on Win7.

I had "Use master password" enabled. After restarting WinSCP my master master password is not recognized. When I then "OK" the denial of access message and then press escape I am nevertheless granted to the system. However the system has lost the passwords to the sessions.

Entering the session password I am able to Work, but I cannot enter and save the session password as this requires the master password.
