Hello Martin,

thank you very much for your reply. Instantly after receiving your e-mail I disabled all caching adjustments of my winalldat winscp profle including your built-in cleanup function. Now everything works fine as it should and the folder access problem has gone!
Additionally I checked the content of the winscp.ini seeking for keywords like "cache".

Perhaps it would be a good idea to offer the winscp user an automatic procedure to get rid of deprecated and useless contents in the winscp.ini file. I found a lot of very old (deprecated) history entries in my winscp.ini file.

Cheers,

Ronald

Re: No access on subfolders with same parent folder name

First, try to clear a directory cache:
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/directory_cache

If that does not help, please attach a complete session log file.

No access on subfolders with same parent folder name

Hello colleagues,

No access on subfolders with the same folder name as the parent folder on the server side is a serious bug. For further details see the attached screenshot of the obstacle.

....html\winalldat is my subdomain winalldat.ivdk.org (No 1.)
....html\winalldat\winalldat is a subfolder of winalldat.ivdk.org (No 2.)
which contains files, documents, updates etc.

There is no way to access the No. 2 (child) folder "winalldat" with WinSCP.
note: other ftp programs like filezilla (portable) do not have a problem to access this
folder hierachy.

Any suggestions to remedy the obstacle or a workaround for the problem are welcome.

Kind regards

Ronald - www.ivdk.org
