Re: Error: WinSCP crashes when trying to open new connection

Thanks for your report.

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

Error: WinSCP crashes when trying to open new connection

Hi. I'm using brand new WinSCP 5.5.0 build 3839. I think I found a bug when using connection tabs. When I have active connection which transfers a lot of large files (about 25 MiBs each) and try to open new connection, WinSCP crashes with Unallowed access to memory error. It seems that the transfers somehow runs without interrupt, but the small window with this error can't be removed. Everytime you press OK, it appears again and again. The only way how to exit from WinSCP is to kill it via Windows task manager.

If that bug is settings specific, for the transfers I'm using the queue limited to 5 files at once. If there'll be needed some other details, please let me know.

Thanks, Petr
