Need to prevent creation of RemoteDirectory registry key

WinSCP 5.5.6
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
GUI/Commander/SCP Interface

We maintain over 300 computers in various campus locations for public use. Each workstation automatically logs on to the network with a generic username. Users must input their personal I.D. and password in order to connect with their personal drives on our central servers.

We have discovered that when a user authenticates and connects to their drives, a registry key is created upon closing their WinSCP session.
[HKCU\Software\Martin Prikryl\WinSCP2\Sessions\AFS%20Storage%20Space\RemoteDirectory]
The next person to use that workstation cannot access their drives as WinSCP tries to re-connect to the previous directory. They are forced to reboot the workstation in order to restore all settings to default.

Is there some way to:
a) prevent the creation of this key (or)
b) automatically delete the key upon log off from the WinSCP session

Any assistance will be appreciated.
