Re: Exclude Directory

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Exclude Directory

For the life of me I can't figure out how to exclude a directory from a syncronization. My code works well otherwise.

# Automatically abort script on errors
option batch abort
# Disable overwrite confirmations that conflict with the previous
option confirm off
# Connect
open ftp://username:password@servername.webaddress.net
# Download file to the local directory X:\
synchronize local X:\
# Disconnect
close
exit

This syncs everything up perfectly, except I want to exclude a directory called "Annotations" from the remote ftp server.

option exclude "Annotations"

does not work in this case. I can't find any really good info around the winscp website on how to do this.
