Re: permissions display/editing for special permissions (on FTP)

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP). Indicate one file that shows the "rwxrwxrwx" format and one file that shows the "flcd" format.

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

permissions display/editing for special permissions (on FTP)

I'm on v5.7.2.5316

when listing directories via FTP [1], some items are shown as "rwx..." and some as "flcdmpe..." (detail view), the difference being that the "flcd..." ones have more than the lower 9 bits set (such as setuid, setgid, sticky...).

also, the properties dialog shows no permissions for those items (all unset), even though it is clearly aware of these high bits.

do I have something configured weirdly?

[1] server sends some new format that goes "modify=20150417141908;perm=flcdmpe;type=dir;unique=19U21DB;UNIX.group=1100;UNIX.mode=02775;UNIX.owner=2052; 15ss-theo1"
