Fix found

I finally found the fix to this problem in case anyone else has the same problem.

It is related to the auto tuning function in Vista.

Type in the line at the command prompt: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

Afterwards WinScp downloads/uploads files without a problem.

WinScp and Vista

I can only transfer very small files with WinScp using Vista. When ever I try to transfer a larger file, WinScp stops transferring after approximately 12,000 bytes. I get the retry message but I cannot get past this limit.

I am able to connect using a machine with XP without a problem.

Any assistance with settings in Vista or WinScp would be appreciated.

Thanks,
