automated running of Winscp under a locked window

I have configured a profile for WinSCP so that when I click on it it will connect to the destination server and automatically logs in using name & pw. This works fine.

I have a scheduler program that runs WinSCP at a specified time. When I test the program it works fine. When I then LOCK the screen and the scheduler runs the program at the specified time it always fails with WinSCP asking for Password whilst trying to log into the remote system.

I manually get the scheduler to run the task of starting WinSCP and it works fine whilst I'm watching. Just doesn't work with the screen locked.

I'm not sure, but is there a possibility that WinSCP doen't work with the desktop locked (it doesn't interact with desktop)?

PS the scheduler is good and runs plenty of other programs for me with the screen locked.
