Logs

Sorry for not being to clear... These are only two logs... The first one (in red) is the log for the connection that is not working... Next (in blue) is the one for the connection that works...
Anyway, I suspect there is a routing problem here... I am talking to the guys that administer our gateway so they can open a route to this server... If this doesn't work, I'll let you know.

Thanks

Re: Keepalive

Sorry, I'm confused. You have posted 4 logs. I do not know which one is which.

Re: Keepalive

Please post a log file both for GUI and script. Use the latest version (4.1.4 beta).

Keepalive

Hi.. thanks for such a quick reponse...

Then connection drops when it reaches the authentication process. As I mentioned, connecting from the GUI interface, the connection process pauses right there (in the authentication, where it says "Authenticating with pre-entered password"), then I get a message that says: "Host has not answered for more than 15 seconds... still waiting"... Then I leave it alone, and after 15 more seconds, maybe more, the connection is established...

But when I run from the script, I see the "Authenticating with pre-entered...", and after 3 or 4 seconds, the connection closes, and the file is not transfered...

If you think keepalive won't help, how do you think I can solve this?? I tried setting batch and confirm both on, but it didn't work...

Thanks again
martin

When does it drop? During file transfer?

Is there a way to use a keepalive option in the script???

What makes you think keepalives would help?

Keepalive option for script

Hi!!
First of all, thanks for your work, this little program has been a great help...

I am trying to solve this issue. I am using winscp to connect to a Linux server from a Windows2003 server machine. When I connect with the GUI interface, the connection process takes about 25 seconds (the server I am connecting to is a production server with a lot of traffic)... but it finally connects.

When I try to connect and download a file using a script, the connection drops past 3 seconds...

Is there a way to use a keepalive option in the script???

Here is the script I am using:

option batch on
option confirm off
open intpap:123qaz@10.210.50.67
cd /home/intpap
option transfer ascii
get XXINVREP.txt C:
close
exit

Thanks in advanced!!
