Re: Novice: Ignore permissions and/or timestamp?

What version of WinSCP are you using? Can you post a log file?

Novice: Ignore permissions and/or timestamp?

Hello,

Thanks for reviewing my question. I started using WinSCP and experimented upload a file to company server. When I upload a file I get the following error complaining it cannot change the permissions or time even though I turn them off. Why do I get such an error? Many Thanks.

option transfer binary
transfer binary
put -nopermissions -nopreservetime d:\Dtb1.jpg
d:\DTB1.JPG | 121 KiB | 88.4 KiB/s | binary | 100%
Upload of file 'DTB1.JPG' was successful, but error occurred while setting the permissions and/or timestamp. If the problem persists, turn on 'Ignore permission errors' option.
The server does not support the operation.
