i have a 3gs with firmware 3.1.2 iv been trying to sign on with username root and password alpine but it keeps giving me a access denied message i also used dottie as a password too but it keeps telling me the same thing is there anyone that can help me please thanks.
This is what it does with both passwords.

Access denied.
Access denied.
Access denied.
Access denied.

Authentication failed.
