Re: Auto Backup on Remote File Open

WinSCP does not support that. But most editors do, so configure any of them as an external editor for WinSCP.

Auto Backup on Remote File Open

Sometimes I need to quickly open and edit a remote file. Is there a way to configure WinSCP so that when I do this, the file I opened is backed up locally? Preferably with an incremental backup system but simply storing the latest copy in a local directory (preserving the remote directory structure) would be fine.

Any ideas on how to make this happen?
