Re: Timezone offset with FTP

WinSCP does not adjust the timestamp with FTP protocol.

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

Timezone offset with FTP

I like to request that the WINSCP by default, does NOT try to adjust the remote file time but preserve the time from server and display it as is. Only change it when timezone offset is not 0?

Currently, my Proftp server on Ubuntu is set for PDT, my local windows xp is set for for pacific. On the server, a file has the correct date/time when I ssh to the server and look at the file. However, from the WINSCP GUI on my XP machine, FTP connection with 0 timezone offset, shows the file 7 hours later than it is.
