Re: Connection timeout when SFTP not supported

That was with version 4.2.7 (build 761) on XP SP3.

Connection timeout when SFTP not supported

I try to use SFTP on my client's sites whenever possible. With one of my clients WinSCP showed a completely blank login dialog and essentially hung (no dialog updates) until the timeout/reconnect dialog came up. In this case, I was expecting it to either work or give me an appropriate error message. The actual behavior was confusing until I remembered to switch from SFTP to FTP.
