It may be server-dependent. But in general I would expect partial file to be left in the target folder.

I am using WINSCP 3.7.6 for trnsferring file in the background with the help of a script.Since my target folder does not support .filepart , i want to disable the transfer resume. But before doing that can you please let me know how WINSCP transfer will react in case network problem or broken connection. Will a partial file will be written to target folder ?
