Re: Unwanted .tif compression upon upload

WinSCP does not do any compression.

Unwanted .tif compression upon upload

I am using version 4.2.8, SFTP, uploading large image files to a fedora repository.

Sometimes when I upload .tif files, they end up having LZW compression, even though they are uncompressed on the local server. It happens when I try to transfer files from multiple directories simultaneously, and all the files in one directory will be compressed (but it seems to be random which directory ends up with compression).

I should add this might be a problem with our ingest tool, but I thought I would look into it here. Thank you.
