getting the error 'Invalid access to memory'

Hi folks,

i am getting the 'Invalid access to memory' while i am into a particular folder.I am using version 3.8.2.

using winscp3.com in the windows 2000 command prompt...

i have changed to the 'LetterQA' directory using
winscp> cd /opt/covansys/LetterQA

and inside the 'LetterQA' folder everything goes wrong.

the command 'ls' throws the following error

winscp> ls
Error listing directory '/opt/covansys/LetterQA'.
No such file or directory.
Error code: 2
Error message from server: No such file
Request code: 11
(A)bort, (R)etry, (S)kip:
Invalid access to memory
winscp>

the PWD comand shows '/opt/covansys/LetterQA' as PWD.
can you pls advice me on this issue???

Hi prikryl,

I found the reason(This may be a bug or a limitation)
Here is the analysis

I have changed to the directory using
cd /opt/covansys/LetterQA
But the last directory 'LetterQA' is actually 'LetterQa'
If it is case sensitive then it shouldn't be allowed me to get into that directory(it should pop some mesges like 'directory doesn't exist').But it is changing into that directory and then it is not allowing me to do any further operations.
Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks
