Recursive "Keep remote directory up to date"

Recursive "Keep remote directory up to date" would be great for all "HTML-Coders" out there.

PS: Let's hope I didn't just not see it

I am also looking for this functionality, not just for maintaining my website, but also for making weekly backups of a file server. (They have to be done through synchronization as there is not enough bandwith available to tranfser the unchanged bulk every week.)

Yeah, I'd like some type of syncronization. Right now, the only app I know of that really does it is FTP Sync, but that's both closed source and shareware. Plus, it doesn't seem to understand Daylightsavings time, and it does only straight ftp (no password encryption.)

Still, it's useful if you're in a hurry (but insecure.) <invalid hyperlink removed by admin>#FTPSync

Sync

Would be a great feature, since I am only able to copy files to the server via scp.

Is a implementation of this planed ?

NON-recursive synchronization

i was doing a search just to be sure that i wouldn't request something that had been requested 1,000 times before and came upon this very old topic.

it seems that in the "olden dayes" of winscp, people were clammoring for recursive syncing of directories. and i can see why, without it, it's a great feature.

but now it seems that this is the only option. for example, i would like to sync my root directory (with around 100 files), but not the entire website (with around 5,000 files).

am i missing something obvious in the settings, or is this just not a common request?

You can omit all sub-directories by specifying exclude mask "*/".
