MSI installer

Hi there,

Back in early 2006 someone posted a feature request for an MSI package (see link below). It was "added to the list".
MSI package

Would I be correct in thinking you've not got around to it yet?

I used WinInstall to create an MSI package, using the snapshot before/after method. This works OK, except that whenever a non-admin opens the application, it keeps going through the process of saying "Please wait while Windows configures WinSCP" as if it's the first time it was being used. I know this probably isn't your fault, but do you have any idea of what Windows might be configuring?

Many thanks,
Steve

No it has not been implemented yet.

Sorry I do not know anything about MSI.

Again... MSI Installer

I take up again the subject about an MSI package. 8)
As I don't see it on the download page I assume it has not been taken any effort to build one by someone. Unfortunately.
Such a package would really help me a great deal in distributing winscp over our network! I don't want to include it in a logon script. Or is there another easy and way to do that? Would appreciate an answer on that.

Thanks
Urs
