Local files browsing

I can browse local files in the left panel, but I cannot seem to show local files in the right one. Would it be possible to add "file" as a protocol for sessions, so WinSCP could be used to manage local files? I know, it's an unusual request, but it seems that WinSCP already has all the features to be a great file manager. Switching between sessions would be so much easier than switching between WinSCP and another file browser.

Sorry, I did not see that entry. I did search the forums, though, and found nothing on the topic.

If you have time for this, could you please explain what does it mean by "missing functionality"?
