WinSCP doesn't transfer file fully but shows 100% completed

HI All,
We are using WinSCP 3.7.6 in conjunction with Informatica in an automated manner to SFTP flat files from Informatica server to Sybase IQ server. Sometimes (only sometimes) a particular file (apparently mostly >10GB) when the file is transferred, the transfer dialogue box shows 100% complete. Also the file transferred doesn't show the .filepart, but still when we check the file SIZE of the file transferred is LESS than the size of the file generated on Informatica server. We are not able to understand the reason for Partial file transfer

Please first upgrade to the latest stable version. If you experience the problem again, let me know.

same experience, v5.17.10 (latest version as of this morning)

I just had the same experience, v5.17.10 (latest version as of this morning).
Notably I copied large >5gb VM image files and ami install scripts from a remote source to a cifs file share by dragging it over to my File Explorer window.

@mikeS: What exactly happens at the end? Does WinSCP hang? Or timeout?

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
