Bug when transferring files to French Freebox

Dear all,

Using WinSCP 4.2.5 on XP Pro SP3, When I try to upload file to the freebox, there is always an error
Error listing directory /xxxx/xxx/
Could not retreive directory listing
Closing data connexion

WHen trying to use IE7 as FTP client, it works fine.

Note that I can't do anything on the Freebox (I do not have any possibility on this server).

Can you please help me ?

Regards,
Laurent (France)

Re: Bug when transferring files to French Freebox

Please post a full log file showing the problem.

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. For posting extensive logs you may use pastebin or similar application. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

Dear,

The server can't generate log file...
The french freebox is "as this".
It is a box containing a processor. This box permits the ADSL link, the phone connection using VoIP, and to receive TV from Internet and TNT.
It also provides the ability to record TV on an internal hard drive and send to TV video streams coming from the hard drive or external device such as USB hard drives or computers connected on the LAN.

Access to the internal hard drive from the LAN use only FTP, with or without password.

The only way to get a lof report is from the FTP client...

How can I help you ?

Regards,
Laurent (France)
