syntax for uploading folders and files

what is the syntax to upload a folder (that contains sub folders and files) to a server ?

will this work ?

put F:\server\folder\*.*

put F:\folder\

perhaps I was not clear with my question;


I got a folder named "A" and "B" folders including many files eg "C.php", "D.xml"

and I want to upload them to \server\domain\folder\

The syntax is the same anyway.
