Network error: Connection refused

Hi ,
I am new to this Forum. I am using Windows XP OS and installed Winscp. In Hostname, I gave my system IP Address and I entered Username and password which I set for my OS. Port number defautly it is taking as 22. On Click of Login, "Network Error : Connection Refused" is Coming. What should I do? Plz help me..

Can you connect with any other SSH client? Are you sure you are supposed to use SSH?

i can log into diskaide through usb but i dont care for their program how can i fix mine to use winscp
