transferring jar and tar files

I purchased a program that has .jar and .tar files. The instructions say to use winscp to transfer these files from the computer to the iphone. I have following all the instructions ..I have ssh working correctly, wifi, etc.

I copied these files in stash then into applications. however. I do not see them as being transferred to the phone.

Where am i supposed to be looking ot find them in the phone?

or if anyone can give me step by step I would really appreciate it.
This is gettin frustrating.
