WinSCP 5.0.6 times out when opening large directories

I am trying to set up syncronization with a large remote directory to a local directory, but when I attempt to open the large remote directory WinSCP times out. The same configuration with smaller directories works fine.
So far I have not found a way around this or any way to change extend the timeout duration.

Any help would be greatly apriciated.
