mixed files when tranferring

Hello,
The version I use is 5.7.6 portable.

When I open a session with one machine and transfer a set of files from the machine to windows, and then without closing the winscp session, I open a session with a new machine and transfer a set of files with the same name, then the files received are altered, and can be either bigger or smaller and I have not been able to Identify a logic in that.

To be quicker I define a temp storage on the same disk I make the transfer on.

The only way I found to have this working is to transfer from one machine, close down winscp before transferring from a new machine.

Re: mixed files when tranferring

Do you mean that, if your download the same files from another machine, without closing a session on the first machine, the downloaded files are different than those downloaded previously using the first machine?

But if you close the session on the first machine, the files downloaded on the another machine are identical to those downloaded previously using the first machine?

I download files with the same name (the logs of a server) and the downloaded file contains a strange mixture of the content of the original files.
Of course I transfer the files different folders.
Even if I make the transfers one after another.
The only way to have correct files is to close winscp and be connected at 1 server at a time. I beleave the problem comes from the temporary folder and the name chosen in this folder.

Re: mixed files when tranferring

Please attach a full log files of both parallel sessions showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
