sharing winscp.ini on a few computers - request for best practice

sharing winscp.ini on some supporting computers ends up in crashes.

We actually share a winscp.ini on a windows network share P:/ to use all actual login credentials among the supporting users (3).

I read about setting read only rights for that file as a solution to prevent winscp from reporting an error (or even crashing as ist does on our systems), but i suppose that would prevent us from adding credentials as long readonly exists.

Is there any other best practice to share logins within a network ?

Thanks for any ideas, marcus
