Error in Call when connecting to FreeSSHD Server on Windows

I am getting the following error when trying to use call command when connecting to a freesshd server (installed on a windows server)

Host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds. Still waiting...
Note: If the problem repeats, try turning off 'Optimize connection buffer size'.

Warning: Aborting this operation will close connection!
(A)bort (0 s): Abort
Terminated by user.
Error skipping startup message. Your shell is probably incompatible with the application (BASH is recommended).

I can use PuTTY to connect to the same server successfully with both cmd.exe and bash.exe as the shell.

It works with Bash-like shells only.

Is shell.exe a Bash-like shell? Did you configure WinSCP/FreeSSHd to use it?

I configured bash.exe (bash ported in windows from CygUtils) in FreeSSHD to be used as the ssh shell.

Initially cmd.exe was configured as shell but the error was the same in both cases.

So does the bash work, if you login with PuTTY?

Please attach a WinSCP log file?

If I login with PuTTY both shells work (cmd.exe and bash.exe)

WinSCP log is attached.
Description: WinSCP Log
