can't save a session unless i'm a local system admin

hiya,

we have a sftp session saved on one a machine which works great but only if the person logged on is a local administrator on the PC, if they are a mere user then when you save a session and close WinSCP, it's not there next time. any thoughts? i dont want to make everyone a local sys admin

thank you for any help

Session are saved in registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Martin Prikryl\WinSCP 2\Sessions
It won't save anything unless one have write permission on that. Try to save your session in a ini file

However you definitely do not need to be local administrator to write to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
