Session Tabs

hi,
regarding the new session tabs in 5.0.3.
is it possible to get back the old session selector? maybe even using both tabs and selector side by side. or an option to choose in settings wich one to use.

my problem is, that the remote session is on the right side while the tabs are on the left side. so the tabs are out of focus while browsing remote side. the old selector could be placed anywhere.

would be great to have it back

Re: Session Tabs

I'm not sure I want to maintain both tabs and session drop down selector.
Another solution I see is that when //Do not change state of local panel when switching sessions// option is selected, the tabs would be over the remote panel only. What do you think?

not sure if it is good to use that option for that,
its probably better to have an additional option //swap session tabs (tabs on right)//

think that would do the trick

Regarding the new session tabs would it be possible to let the user adapt some attributes of the look of the tab, like normal/bold, text color or such?

The sessions and therefore the tabs are kind of essential since it's important to know at a glance on which server you work on.
The fanciest way (because it can pull the most of the users attention to it) would be tabs with a per-server custom background-color and text color and a setting that sets the text for the active tab to bold.
