hi, do you know if there's any way based on my logs or the server's logs to check if the file was downloaded or uploaded and if the ip address is also listed in those logs. also, if you downloaded a file from winscp to your hard drive will the time stamp on the file be changed or not. thanks!

I guess that SFTP servers may support some logging, but I do not know which one you use.

It depends. If you have "Preserve timestamp" checked, the timestamp will be set to the same as the original (source) file has. If you uncheck it, the file will have current time as its timestamp.
