I had 3 sessions opened an change the desktop via VirtuaWin. Then immediately the messages for every connection came up from WinSCP that the connection was closed. I clicked on "OK". After the third (last) session was closed, this message showed up...

=> after hibernate I try to close multiple winSCP session using Escap key (Note : I use virtualWin and my computer was very slow - At the same time I switch to multiple screen ) - memory was NOT full when I see this message

WinSCP was connected to a host (with auto reconnect) and the window was on a hidden virtual desktop for about a week, when I came back to it this error was showing.

Clicking "OK" or closing the error just showed a new popup with the same error message. Don't know how many times I clicked OK (held down enter for a while), always got the same error again. So there were probably >1000 of these errors in the backlog.

OS: Windows 7 x64 pro
Virtual desktop program: goScreen

Whenever WinSCP is connected to a remote host and the PC which WinSCP is running on has its current network adapter changed (which comes with an IP address change), this type of error occurs. I'm not entirely sure but the error may not happen until the network adapter is switched a second time after WinSCP disconnects the first time. I end up having to switch adapters constantly because I'm working on a business network and local-only network while doing development work. When the error does occur, WinSCP cannot even be closed except through the Task Manager because the error message appears again every time it is closed.

I believe this was because I had started a new WinSCP session (same tunnel) when the first one appeared to have frozen. I'm being forced to reply to this bug report before I can verify whether killing the original one eliminates the problem.

I just do nothing. WinSCP disconnects and I got the invalid access to memory error message which I can't even close.
It might be that it is not happening due to normal disconnection after inactivity but when there is a sudden network issue like this time. My network connection has become broken and the error message appeared.

Disconnected from a session. Error window came up. Hit OK, new window with same message came up, same thing happened and I could not get out of this loop. I had to kill the process to get out.

it's my mistake, I report it only because I am not able to stop scp. It's happening to me when I shutdown windows as sleep.
