Cant delet file

Hello,

if i try to delet a file with non standard letters, the program says:

invalid characters in scp command!
here:"
try using a wildcard to match this file/directory.

i dont understand what i have to do, i cant rename or delet it, what is a wildcard? can u explain me where to find it in program. I am not sure probably the server do not support it wich i try to access?

Re: Cant delet file

The message you have posted comes from the server, not from WinSCP. You cannot use wildcards in WinSCP to delete the file. More than that scp command cannot be used to delete file. There's something wrong. Please post a log file.

OK, but I would still like to solve the problem with SCP protocol. May I see the log file?

Re: Cant delet file

It seems like some strange limitation of your system. I have no idea how to help you, but if SFTP works, than use it :-)
