Error Code: 3 when trying to create a directory

When trying to create a folder "test" in a directory with WORLD R/W/E I get the following. This works on all other AIX servers except these new ones

Permission denied.
Error code: 3
Error message from server: Permission denied (*)
Request code: 14

When the directory is world-writeable, it does not necessary mean that you can write to it. You may for example belong to group of that directory and it may have writting disallowed.
