Alphabetical sorting seems to be broken

The alphabetical sorting of hexadecimal increasing filenames (that are created one after another and not touched again) does not match the time-sorting, which is unexpected.

Please see attached image "Sorting broken.png".

Why is it in the top picture
00000005000001F4000000FF
00000005000001F5000000A0
while there is also a file
00000005000001F500000000
as you can see in the bottom screenshot?

In case this is important: There are 2758 files in this (remote) directory.

Thank you & Best regards
