Re: Keep Time when tranferring files

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP and if possible even using 5.7.7).

To generate the session log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

The server behaves differently in the session for 5.9.3.

While it would be strange, one of the reasons might be that with 5.7.7, you use TLS/SSL, while with 5.9.3 you are not.

I'm using TLS/SSL only with one connection with the old WinSCP. The other two are without encryption on both (old/new) WinSCP. The appearance is the same with three different connections / servers.

I'll try to recreate the settings, I've imported them from the old WinSCP.

Hmm ... I tried and updated the old WinSCP to the current version. There it is working.

Have you heard anything that a Sophos firewall could intercept the ftp communication and alter the Date / Time?

Your feedback from email:

I've talking to a IT-Sec guy responsible for the firewall.

He told me that the firewall is intercepting the ftp traffic with ftp proxy for content check. He thinks that the command for keeping date / time -

MDTM he mentioned - may not be implemented in the sophos ftp-proxy.
