Connection Error

When attempting to login to an established session, connection can not be established and error message pops up. Typically when I hit the Login button from the home page, it loads another screen where a connection is established and a password must be entered. I do not have the ability to enter a password because I get the error message during the connection phase. The error message that pops up reads: "Couldn't agree a key exchange algorithm (available: ecdh-sha2-nistp256,ecdh-sha2-nistp384,ecdh-sha2-nistp521,diffie-hellman-group16-sha512,diffie-hellman-group18-sha512,diffie-hellman-group14-sha256)"

It gives me the option to reconnect but returns to this same message. Any ideas on how to establish connection and resolve this error?

Thank you.

Re: Connection Error

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
