@MarvinG: Thanks. Though I didn't. I meant that @Neustradamus posts the same request with every new PuTTY release, without any details.

He must be from the Linux world, but I agree it is best practice in IT security to always update your dependencies.

I won't deny this is hard work! Code breaks easily. You are doing God's work though.
