Transfering files/folder separately

For the sake of god please allow it to transfer each file/folder individually as it's painfully slow but I really like the UI of WinSCP the most.

Having 38 folders that contain a lot of small files, if you select all of them and set to upload, it takes 8+ minutes to finish; if I set each folder individually (f5, down arrow, f5 and so on) it barelly takes 1-2 minutes. The "Transfer each file individually" feature that appearantly didn't work as intended and was removed, was the holy grail of this client yet still not as good as FileZilla.

Re: Transfering files/folder separately

"Transfer each file individually" was not removed, but replaced by a feature that behaves more or less the same as FileZilla.
If it does not work for you, we need more details.
First make sure you have Use multiple connections for single transfer enabled (it is enabled by default)

If you have, please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
