SFTP in WinSCP is not SFTP?

Hi,
Im having issues connecting to a web host using sftp..

It works from my clients ip, but not from mine, and the web host assures me that my ip is not blocked.

When i told the Web host i was using WinSCP to test the connection using sftp (p:22) protocol, he told me "but scp uses ssh protocols, not sftp."

I though the s in sftp stood for ssh...

Of course, SFTP uses SSH.
I'd rather say that the support got confused by WinSCP, believing that you (WinSCP) use SCP, not SFTP. WinSCP supports both, but defaults to SFTP.
