Errorhandling in script?

This is a really good program.
But is it possible to add some kind of errorhandling for scripts? It would solve a lot of my problems.

What kind of error handling?

Something like a dialog box and the possibility to choose whether to proceed or quit? In any case, something to let the user know there was an error and what went wrong?

Can you give me a specific example of an error you have trouble with?
