Hello
I have bought a site thats designed with former frontpage.

I want to edit this site and have asked the creator of my website to tell me how I import this website into sharepoint designer (A program that have the same features as frontpage. Thus I frequently can upload and download.

I was told to use WinSCP but I have a problem by running my date in the winSCP login

This is the information I use
Server IP:
LOGINNAVN: EMAIL
PASSWORD: xxxxx
Protocol: SFTP

WinSCP have a field that shows something about Putty File(Private Key file) --- is this necessary

When I try to login I get this error code
--- network error: Connection timed out.

I am sure that the Ip adress, the login and the password is correct but still it doesnt work, even though I try to alter the transfer protocol. I dont have a privat key file (putty)

Right now I need to know if I am supposed to configure a Putty (private key file), Or is this by any means necessary.

Thank you
Guest

anyone please help

Have tested the listed ip adress(81.19.234.99) that guides me to the server verinet.dk, which is my domain provider

I have also tried to deactivate my firewall with no luck.

I still dont know if putty file is required ???

This has nothing to do with key. Are you sure you are about to use SFTP?

Have you read documentation?
