Backing up and moving

I searched but did not see a way to back up the data already contained in the program, install the program on a new Windows 7 Laptop and import data, or copy to a directory?

I managed to back up and import the registry configs, and it works, but the error message stating that the filepath is wrong. Naturally I went from XP to Windows 7, so that is the case. I assume I have to edit the registry to change that.
