Simultaneous transfers using command line

I'm using command line to synchronize a folder to my webserver. I noticed that once it finishes comparing and starts transferring, it only seems to be transferring 1 file at a time. It also takes MUCH longer to complete the transferring portion that FileZilla, which I can see does simultaneous transfers. Is there an option somewhere to turn this on for command line? I'm using 4.3.3.1340.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Paralel transfers are not supported in scripting or for synchronization.
