How to donate?
Send donation using PayPal:
If you experience any problem with sending donation, please let me know. You may use support forum.
WinSCP is completely free application, licensed under GPL, and it will remain so in the future. You do not have to pay me anything for downloading and using it. However if you still want donate to its development, you are welcome.
Feel free to request some new functionality with your donation. I would feel more obligated to implement functionality requested in such way. However I still keep right to not implement it, if I have reasons not to do so. You may ask for features related to GUI, SFTP or SCP. Do not ask for anything regarding SSH, such as private key handling or new means of authentication. WinSCP relies of SSH code coming from PuTTY SSH client. You may send your request to its authors and I will take over their implementation.
What do you get for your donation?
Your name will be listed on list of WinSCP donors below. If you have an account on WinSCP support forum registered to the same email address as your donation comes from, the account will receive "Donor" rank shown along all your posts. You should register the account before sending a donation.
You may also have your website linked from donor list. We list only frontpages of sites. We reserve right not to list any site we may consider inappropriate. Particularly we do not list offensive sites, link farms, etc. Link will bear name of the donor, person or company, not a name of the site. Note that rejection of listing your site is not a reason for reclaiming your donation.
As a donor you will also have a right to request pre-release version of WinSCP, which solves some of your problems or which includes a feature you requested. Please note that this still does not mean that your requests for new features will be always fulfilled. It only means that you may get the features much sooner than other users. To get a pre-release version, you should always submit your requests on support forum with your "Donor" account.
