The only impact it has is that you will not have the list of your groups available in drop-down menu of file properties dialog.

Groups error at login connecting to SCO OpenServer

I am using WinSCP to connect to my SCO Opneserver 5 systems. When I connect there is a groups failure message. WinSCP is trying to execute a file that doesn't exist on SCO. The program groups is on Linux but not SCO. I am assuming I can get rid of this message by unchecking the display groups check box. If I do that will I lose any functionality or file security?

Thanks :D
