When connection, WinSCP aborts if directory not found

I use a saved session to access a unix machine. when connecting, the session aborts when trying to read the directories. I found that the saved directory path saved in WinSCP no longer exists on the remote machine, but WinSCP doesn't prompt for a new directory or indicate it cannot find the one it's trying to look for.
